Art as Advocacy Panel
Cassiopeia Guthrie, as part of the Deeper Learning panels in San Diego, April 3rd, created an Art as Advocacy Panel which included creatives and educators in all areas of visual and performing arts and STEAM. Riot Productions Artistic Director Sarah LeClair appears as part of the panel of experts to encourage art as advocacy, activism, and social justice.
Read Across East County

Riot is proud to partner with the underserved communities of East County San Diego and organized local teens to perform to raise money for books for libraries in the Grossmont District. A portion of all the proceeds at participating Barnes and Nobles across San Diego went back to purchasing books for school libraries while these teens performed for two hours on a Friday night.
Scholarship Competition

Riot, in partnership with Sing With Chrissy Studios founded and financially supports the East County Star Vocal Competition which is limited to performers in underserved East County and tries to bridge the gap for young performers in middle school, high school, and college to get access to voice lessons and recording studio time as well as make connections for future mentors. Winners of the vocal competititon receive a cash prize.
Valley De Oro Little League

Riot Productions and Monte Vista High School Choir has partnered with the Valley De Oro Little League to support East County kids since 2018, singing the national anthem for the starting ceremonies each year.
